Bollinger is a legendary French champagne brand that people have enjoyed for almost 200 years. Now, it is also a brand new electric vehicle after U.S. based Bollinger Motors introduced two cars, B2 pickup truck and B1 SUV. Both are electric, designed for dirt roads and off road conditions.

Amazon has ordered 100,000 electric vans from Rivian, a startup that’s building electric adventure vehicles

Recently Amazon’s founder Jeff Bezos announced that the company is serious with its environmental initiative that aims at reducing pollution. The company ordered 100,000 electric delivery vans from a U.S. startup called Rivian. The vans will be delivered to Amazon during ten years. 10,000 electric vans are planned to be on the road in 2022 and the last ones rolling along asphalt by 2030.

Large electric SUV Volkswagen I.D. Roomzz with long range, autonomous driving

Volkswagen has introduced a new member to its family of I.D. electric vehicles: the Roomzz. It is a relatively large SUV model that is designed for autonomous driving as well. VW has shown a prototype in April 2019, is planning to show a production model in 2020, and the production of the electric SUV should start in 2021.

Both Hyundai Kona and Kia Niro electric cars have the range for a road trip

Two new compact electric cars that are available in early 2019 have the battery capacity for conducting road trips. The Hyundai Kona Electric and Kia Niro EV are electric SUV models with 400-480 km / 250-300 mile range. If that’s not enough for a day’s drive, both can be charged rapidly in 60-75 minutes up to 80% of battery capacity.
