As many tourists have experienced, Paris is empty from Parisians during the summer vacations. In addition to Parisians, the French in general like to travel to destinations non-French have never heard of. Another particular feature in France is the number of large, high-quality open air vacation sites. We may call them camping, glamping, holiday villages, resorts, or whatever, but there are plenty of them in stunningly beautiful locations in France.
